Active Release Technique (ART)

ART is an advanced approach to treat soft tissue injuries. Repetitive stress, trauma or overuse can result in the buildup of scar-tissue and adhesions which hinder the movement and function of soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves). ART is a non-invasive hands-on treatment that restores proper function to soft tissues, in the process eliminating symptoms of pain, numbness, weakness and decreased range of motion. Most soft tissue injuries resolve in a few number of visits with Active Release Technique.

Graston Technique

Graston is an instrument-assisted technique that addresses soft tissue adhesions that can result from repetitive stress and sports related injuries. The unique shapes of the instrument allow for specific contact through the injured muscles, fascia and tendons.

Many athletes use RockTape to increase their performance by reducing fatigue to the muscles. It works best when it is applied to a stretched muscle by elevating the skin to increase blood flow and oxygen. Non-traditionally it has also been used to help relieve aches and pains associated with pregnancy. Dr. Bianchi was taped up during both of her pregnancies with dramatic pain-relieving results!

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a safe, non-invasive, natural form of health care for all joints of the body, including the knees, shoulders, hips, ankles, and spine. Joints often become fixated as a result of inflammation and scar tissue formation. Chiropractic care, especially in combination with soft tissue mobilization techniques like Active Release Technique and Graston, helps to restore joint motion and allows the joints to function optimally.

Initial visit (60 min) $150

The above techniques are used when appropriate and in conjunction with each other to provide the best possible care for musculoskeletal injuries.
