injury care
Active Release Technique (ART) ART is an innovative and advanced approach to the treatment of soft tissue injuries. It is one of the most effective treatments available for conditions such as tendonitis, back, hip or neck pain, TMJ, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, shin splints, muscle strains, and sciatica. Repetitive stress, trauma or overuse can result in the buildup of scar-tissue and adhesions which hinder the movement and function of soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves). ART is a non-invasive hands-on treatment that restores proper function to soft tissues, in the process eliminating symptoms of pain, numbness, weakness and decreased range of motion.
Chiropractic Care Chiropractic is a safe, non-invasive, natural form of health care for all joints of the body, including the knees, shoulders, hips, ankles, and spine. Joints often become fixated as a result of inflammation and scar tissue formation. Chiropractic care, especially in combination with soft tissue mobilization techniques like Active Release Technique or Graston, helps to restore joint motion and allows the joints to function optimally.
Graston Technique Graston Technique is an innovative form of soft tissue mobilization that utilizes specifically designed stainless steel instruments to assist in treating soft tissue injuries. This technique enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and release fascial restrictions that develop between muscles.
Cold Laser Erchonia lasers are used to emit light that is received by the cell membranes to cause a cascade of healing effects to the muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints. This painless procedure shortens healing time while decreasing pain and inflammation.
The above techniques are used when appropriate and in conjuction with each other to provide the best possible care for musculoskeletal injuries.
